Hey, everyone! This is the creator of Little Girls Are Better At Designing Superheroes Than You, here with a post I thought you all might like. Writer Ted Anderson and I have made a pitch for a superhero comic!

The comic is about nine-year-old Lucia Marquez-Miller, who loves engineering, and uses her telekinetic powers to build and take things apart with her mind. She calls this power her spark!

As Spark, the world’s youngest superhero, she’s a junior member of a superhero team while also trying to live a normal life. Can Lucia juggle her friends and family while also saving the world from supervillains?

We’re posting a 15-page standalone comic here on tumblr to give readers an idea of what the book would be like.

I’m sorry, but batman being a symbol of justice is the biggest bs I’ve ever heard.

The word you were looking for was /revenge/

If anyone is justice, it’s Wonder Woman.

yo seriously doesn’t anyone even remember his thing

"I am vengeance; I am the night; I am Batman."

I am vengeance look he says it right there

Ekho - Alessandro Barbucci (2013) -  download

Fourmille Gratule is a young girl on her way to New York, when she and her flight’s seat mate Yuri are transported to an alternate universe New York, a city ruled by monsters and dragons and where electricity doesn’t exist. She learns about her recently deceased aunt’s life in this alternate world called Ekho, Her aunt’s old secretary Grace is now her best friend, but her and Yuri need to get back home somehow!

Ekho is a brand new series the co-author and artist of W.I.T.C.H. and Skydoll has teased us with for months, and has just been released, and graciously scanslated :D I read the preview, and the entire issue is fantastic! I mean, it’s a french comic by the man who did Skydoll, so you should know what to expect, but I love Fourmille and Yuri is adorable, I love it so far, I can’t wait for issue 2!!  check out a blog post from AB with some concept art! the images included are some random pages to show off what it’s like.

You hear all these “you’re not a real fan unless” and it lists a hundred things, but I met a dude today who saw my Deadpool pin and asked what my favorite story arc was, and I explained that while I loved Deadpool, I was new to Marvel (I only really got into it a year and a half ago) and hadn’t been able to find a lot of the comics. Instead of making a face or a derogatory comment, he just offered to send me all the stuff he had. That is a true fan.
